Roth Playbook

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 12, 2026

1. Who we are

Roth Playbook is operated by Webly as a consumer education and marketing platform. We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or insurance agency, and we do not provide individualized tax, legal, investment, or insurance advice.

How we are paid: independent licensed financial professionals pay Roth Playbook a fixed fee for each inquiry or qualified meeting generated through this site. We do not evaluate, rate, rank, endorse, or recommend any professional, and payment to us does not imply an endorsement. Any advice, recommendation, or product discussion comes solely from the licensed professional you speak with.

2. Information we collect

  • Information you submit: name, email address, phone number (optional), state, age range, retirement and account details you enter into our calculators, and the consent choices you make.
  • Scheduling information: if you book a meeting, the meeting time and any answers you give in the scheduling form, received from our scheduling provider.
  • Usage information: pages viewed, referring URL, campaign parameters (such as UTM tags), approximate session activity, browser and device type.

We do not ask for and do not want Social Security numbers, account numbers, or login credentials. Please do not submit them.

3. How we use it

  • To generate the hypothetical, educational illustration you requested.
  • To contact you by email, phone, or — only if you separately opted in — text message about your request.
  • To share your inquiry with an independent licensed financial professional who may follow up with you.
  • To operate, secure, measure, and improve the site.

4. Who we share it with

Independent licensed financial professionals. When you submit a form with consent, we share your submission with one independent licensed financial professional (or their firm), who is paid-per-inquiry access to your request. That professional is a separate business, is solely responsible for the advice and products they discuss, and handles your information under their own privacy practices. We do not evaluate, endorse, or recommend them.

Service providers. Hosting, database, email delivery, SMS delivery, calendar scheduling, and analytics vendors that process data on our behalf under contract.

Legal. When required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell your information to data brokers or advertising networks.

5. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to opt out of targeted advertising, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information.

Because we are compensated when we pass your inquiry to a financial professional, that disclosure may be treated as a “sale” or “share” under some state laws. To submit a Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information request, an access request, or a deletion request, email privacy@rothplaybook.net with the details of your request. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law, and we will not discriminate against you for making one. You may also authorize an agent to submit a request on your behalf.

If you have already been contacted by a financial professional, you must also contact that firm directly to have their copy of your information deleted.

6. Opting out of contact

  • Email: click the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or email us.
  • Text messages: reply STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help.
  • Phone: tell the caller to place you on their do-not-call list.

7. SMS program terms

Program: Roth Playbook appointment messaging. If you check the optional text-message box and provide a U.S. mobile number, we send a booking confirmation and reminders before your scheduled meeting.

  • Message frequency varies; typically no more than a few messages per meeting.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
  • Reply STOP to cancel at any time; reply HELP for assistance.
  • U.S. mobile numbers only. Marketing text campaigns are not part of this program.

8. Retention and security

We keep submissions for as long as needed to operate the service and meet legal and recordkeeping obligations, including proof of the consent you provided, then delete or de-identify them. We use industry-standard safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Children

The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above will change. Questions or requests: privacy@rothplaybook.net.
